A wonderfully refreshing and rejuvenating experience!
Goat’s milk is high in vitamins, minerals and nutrients that improve skin quality. For centuries, people around the world have used soap made with goat’s milk for its many healthy skin benefits:
- Natural alpha hydroxy acid gently exfoliates skin and makes it look and feel younger.
- Vitamin A repairs damaged skin tissue, reduces lines and wrinkles, controls acne, and prevents brown spots.
- Zinc assists in the reconstruction of collagen fibers and maintaining the skin’s elasticity.
- Selenium is thought to protect the skin from sun damage, including skin cancer.
- Natural emollients, cream and caseins help soothe and moisturize the skin, making goat’s milk soap ideal for psoriasis, eczema, dry and sensitive skin.
Loofah is a climbing vine with fruits that look like cucumbers. The young fruit is edible (sometimes called “Chinese okra”), but when left to dry on the vine, the skin of the fruit becomes the product we refer to as a “loofah sponge.” Loofah is a wonderful exfoliating sponge that gently removes the surface layer of dead skin cells, leaving skin looking radiant, healthy, and smooth. Exfoliation enhances circulation, removes calluses, and helps to prevent ingrown hairs on the face and body.
Essential oils are natural scents distilled from flowers, berries, leaves, and other plant materials. Food – Grade Dyes
The beautiful colors in our soaps are a result of the high quality food-grade dyes made from naturally-occurring pigments in seeds, vegetables, fruits, algae, insects, animals, and minerals, or the naturally-occurring chemical reactions in minerals, such as the green from copper oxidizing. Food grade dyes must follow strict regulations established by the FDA, USDA and international organizations. Many artificial dyes have been found to be harmful to people with sensitivities and are not used in our soaps.
